How tough is it and how long should it take to change a water pump on a 1993 grand cherokee with a v8 318 moto?

Your gonna need a wrench big enough wrench to get the fan off. Do that first with the belt still on. If you can get that off the rest will be pretty easy. you will also need a water pump by pass hose you can't see it now. But you will when you get it apart and if you don't replace it when you do the water pump youll be sorry.How tough is it and how long should it take to change a water pump on a 1993 grand cherokee with a v8 318 moto?

do yourself a favor if your going to do this yourself Get a book at your local auto parts while your getting the water pump. You are looking at about 4 hours if you know what your doing this is with air tools. Doing it by hand 5 to 6 hours.
buy a new one and then open hood you wil lsee what you need to remove to get it off not really a hard job just clean th eold gasket off and really four hours or so would do it between beer breaks might want to add a couple hours more
