2.0 3.3 to 3.6 hours aprox $175 + parts



$30 to $65 water pump and $10 antifreese

well the water pump is 75 new but the mechanic will charge double so your at 150. This is standard paractice. The labor will be 3 hrs. At 65 thats 195+ 75=270, so take 300 and hope for a 2 hr. labor charge. Id Tell the mechanic you will give him 20 bucks if he can have it ready in an hr.A good mechanic can have that pump changed in 35 minutes if the part is there.If you have time and some some small tools go get the haynes manual on your car and save 250 this is not as hard as you may think.How much should it cost to change the water pump on a 93 ford probe GT 5-spd?
