Does anyone know how to change a water pump on a benz 190e?

Which 190E? The 2.3, 2.3-16 valve, or the 2.6? The 2.6 is the most difficult due to the lack of space but there are way too many steps ( and torque specifications ) to list them all out here. Get yourself a repair manual and follow it step-by-step. Personally, I'd recommend a Benz CD-ROM repair manual but Haynes also has a book available for the 190E which is much cheaper.Does anyone know how to change a water pump on a benz 190e?
unless you are pretty good at car repairs, Id find a shop to do for you. Get out your manual it will give you the specs for torque .. you need to remove radiator,fan belts to even get to it and its not any harder then most cars.

If you have a mercedes repair manual some auto parts stores carry them.

Look here. If you can afford A Mercedes you should take it the the shop. You know how fickled German cars are. (smile)
Remove the radiator and fan. The rest is then not too difficult if you are following the repair manual.
It's easy, just a matter of nuts and bolts. Be sure to replace the thermostat and bypass hose while you're there.
