you should have timing marks on the crank pulley and the cam gear. go to autozone.com and register for free put in you vehicle then once you've registered next to the box that shows your info it will say view repair info once in here go to engine overhaul or what not anyway if gives you step by steps with pictures and everything on removal and installation of the timing belt. basically its the haynes manual free online. hope this helpsI had to change my water pump and i took off the timing belt?
honda-tech .com , great forum for hondas , has any schematic or procedure you need
the best ting to do is to go buy the owners repair manuel you can find it in every autoparts for cheep
There are marks you can line up for TDC, but they are hard to see.

I need to know how to change the water pump in my 1987 bmw 325i any info will be helpful...?
Well...Need to drain the Coolant out of the radiator...Take off the Radiator hoses. Unbolt the water pump, clean and install new gasket, bolt on the new pump, reinstall the hoses and refill the coolant. You may or may not have to remove the radiator and other various pieces of the car to access the water pump on this car. I have never driven BMW due to the excruciatingly high repair costs...so I have never even looked under the hood on one of these. But the concept is the same on all vehicles. You should be able to buy a Chilton Manual at the parts store with Step by Step directions and lots of pictures. Good Luck! By the Way...Ur really cute! Cant you coerce a man to just do this for you? Most men I know will do about anything a pretty lady asks them to...It is in our nature to try to rescue the damsel in distress!I need to know how to change the water pump in my 1987 bmw 325i any info will be helpful...?
Sorry not a BMW mech, but I can tell you this it's not an easy job. I think that if you can afford the car unless it was a gift, get prepared to send this car to the shop. Guarantees, and warranties, are given to the car for a reason. Fix it Sell it and get a car you can afford!I need to know how to change the water pump in my 1987 bmw 325i any info will be helpful...?

How to know what kind of water pump my D16Z6 Honda Engine has, as well as how to change it.?
I have a 94 Civic EX with a D16Z6 engine, need to change the water pump, but not sure which one it has, I have seen 2 types, the internal (inside the timing housing) and regular hooked up to the belts, not sure which one I have and how to change it, the internal one, the outside one is straight forward. How to know what kind of water pump my D16Z6 Honda Engine has, as well as how to change it.?
here is a link to changing a water pump. i assume it is the same for all the civics, under the timing belt cover. be aware that getting the crank pulley off is very difficult. it is on with incredible torque. i just did one on a civic similar to yours but i am not sure of the year. i used a 1/2 drive with a 20'; extension to get to it. i also used a six foot pipe on the end of my wrench to get enough torque to break it free. u also need to find a way to keep the engine from turning while trying to break free the bolt. some hondas have a hexagonal insert in the crank pulley which allows you to use a special tool available on amazon.com. others have a crank pulley with holes in it that need another tool to hold it still which i do not know where to find. drop me a line if u need any further help.database programming

How do you change water in a water cooled PC?
What is the safest method of removing all the water in a water pump in order to refill it with a fresh mix. Please no answers saying ';why would you do that?'; or ';you do not need to change that ever';.
Thank YouHow do you change water in a water cooled PC?
Simply purge your system. Have 2 buckets - one full of clean water, the other empty, disconnect and drain your reservoir, then stick the intake hose into the full bucket, the exhaust hose into the empty one, and turn the pump on. Flush the entire bucket full of water through the system, then refill your reservoir and purge the air out of the system like when you built it the first time.

Can anyone show me with a picture how to change the water pump on a 1996 dodge grand caravan 3.3L?
I need to know (with a picture or diagram if possible) how to change the water pump on a 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L. My neighbor has offered to change it for me, but wants a detailed diagram of the inside of the vehicle before he gets started so that he doesn't mess with anything that he really doesn't have to. I agree but can't seem to find any pictures or diagrams of how to remove the water pump. Can anyone help or offer any suggestions? Any help is appreciated! Thanks! Can anyone show me with a picture how to change the water pump on a 1996 dodge grand caravan 3.3L?
no diagram but you need to pull the right front wheel ,remove the plastic cover {3 bolts 10 mm} loosen the 3 13mm water pump pulley bolts, then loosen the belt ,the tensioner bolt is a 15 mm,take off the pulley remove 5 10 mm bolts from pump remove pump install is opposite just changed mine on monday it took about 45 minutes really easyCan anyone show me with a picture how to change the water pump on a 1996 dodge grand caravan 3.3L?
sorry but if you need a picture of water pump maybe you might want to get someone else ... to remove the pump is not that hard only a few bolts but removing some of the other parts that are in the way of it the only hard part of any water pump change.. if you have the new one on hand you can pretty much guess to where and how it goes on
that is nice of ur neighbor to offer. Its in the front of engine...pretty straight forward.
he,ll need a good repair manual to get actual details on how to change this if he hasn't ever changed one on a caravan before it would be a real good idea for you to purchase a repair manual, even though he,s offering to do this for free,he will need all the information he can get on doing this and a repair manual will offer him pictures as well as good instructions on doing it,good luck.

How to change the water pump on 2006 town and country?
pull the right front wheel off and pull the shroud off once the shroud is removed then remove the belt using a 3/8 inch drive ratchet once you do that u will see the water pump remove the pulley on the water pump there are 3 bolts holding it on. once its out of the way you will have 6 13 mili. bolts remove that and the water pump will come off u clean the mounting surfaces put a new gasket on and reverse the process with a new water pump....
hope that helpsHow to change the water pump on 2006 town and country?

Buy a HAYNES Manual at the Auto Parts Store $20 or on-line $25, they specialize in step-by-step plus pictures for the whole car. Overheating isn't the only problem that will occur.I need a step by step guide on how to change a water pump in a 94 plymouth sundance duster?
Is the water pump leaking from the weep hole?? If not then it most likely not the problem. You may need to be looking at the radiator. Is it clogged up with dirt, leaves or other debris? You say you have changed the fan motor. I take take it is electric, if it is running and the water pump does not leak then check the radiator.
I doubt you're going to get anyone to give u a good step by step answer. You could buy a Haynes car repair manual at the auto parts store. They do a decent job of step by step.
Did you check to see if the pump is pumping? Leave off the radiator cap and run the engine. When it reaches operating temperature the coolant in the radiator should start to move indicating the pump is moving the coolant thru the engine block.
PeeWee is right about the weep hole. Not leaking, probably not the pump.
